about:Scattered Smothered & Covered is an acoustic roots music ensemble from Richmond, Virginia. The band’s repertoire reaches far and wide, exploring a range of musical genres. Their sound, firmly rooted in American musical traditions including bluegrass, old-time, country blues, and early jazz, is on the one hand accessible and familiar, and on the other, new and exciting.
